This past year, IRONSCALES made the strategic decision to go all-in on a channel-first sales model — fueled by the belief that through mutual success with our strategic partners, we will be better positioned to stem the rising tide of email-based cyber threats. And with that mission in mind, we recently bolstered our leadership ranks with some of the industry’s foremost channel experts.
The initiative began with the appointment of Mark Fitzmaurice as IRONSCALES’ new Senior Vice President of Global Channel Sales. Leveraging his 20-plus years of experience in tech and channel sales, Mark led the development of a star-studded roster of channel leaders — bringing on Henrik Davidsson as VP of International Channel Sales; Christopher Marquez as Channel Director – MSP/MSSP; Frank Plowright as Channel Business Manager – Eastern US and Canada; and Jennifer Lee as Channel Business Manager.
These five professionals bring to IRONSCALES a wealth of knowledge and expertise in channel growth and relationship management, and have already proven themselves invaluable in the company’s transition to channel-first sales. Indeed, it was with these new leaders at the helm that IRONSCALES successfully launched its new global channel partner program, @SCALE (“at scale”) — which offers partners guaranteed margins, significant growth opportunities, protected revenue, and world-class resources and tools.
We couldn’t be more excited to formally announce the addition of these five channel leaders to the IRONSCALES team. With Mark, Henrik, Christopher, Frank, and Jennifer on our side, we’re confident that IRONSCALES and our valued channel partners will see no shortage of success in the months and years ahead.
A Closer Look at IRONSCALES’ New Channel Leaders
Mark comes to IRONSCALES with over 20 years of diverse channel and technology experience. Over the years, he has worked with global resale, integration, consultative, managed services, and technology partners to create joint solutions that deliver meaningful, differentiated value for partners and customers. He has applied his expertise across a wide variety of industry segments, including: cybersecurity, networking, high-performance computing, cloud technologies, and virtualization. Mark holds a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Maryland, as well as an MBA in Finance from the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Henrik comes to IRONSCALES by way of Vectra AI, where he was instrumental in building out the company’s business with managed security service providers (MSSPs), global systems integrators (GSIs), and global service providers (GSPs). While at Vectra, Henrik served in multiple leadership positions, most recently as Senior Director for Global Partner Strategy, Programs, & Enablement. Over the course of his illustrious career, Henrik has worked with multiple industry giants, including: NTT, Cisco, Juniper, and FireEye. He joined Cisco via their 2007 acquisition of Ironport, then a leading email security solution.
Christopher joins IRONSCALES with over 18 years of diverse experience in channel sales. Most recently, Christopher spent the last 6 years working directly with thousands of MSP/MSSPs to enhance their security posture. Prior to that, he worked as Sr. Cloud Solutions Account Executive/Regional Manager at Pax8 while the company scaled from 50 employees to 550 and they went from supporting 8 vendors to over 55. At IRONSCALES, Christopher will be responsible for developing the MSP/MSSP channel through new partner acquisitions, in addition to nurturing existing MSP/MSSP Distribution relationships.
Frank comes to IRONSCALES after a highly-successful, five-year tenure at Netskope, where he served as one of the company’s first channel managers, and went on to lead a much larger team of professionals as the company scaled. Before his time at Netskope, Frank served in various senior and leadership positions at Cloud Passage, Infoblox, and Citrix. Frank has worked in IT for nearly 20 years and has grown channels by helping partners understand the value of given technologies and how best to create and capitalize on opportunity.
Jen comes to IRONSCALES with over 20 years of experience driving joint sales within the channel partner community. As a Channel Business Manager for IRONSCALES, Jen will oversee the strategy and execution of the IRONSCALES Partner Program as it continues to expand nationally. Jen is responsible for ensuring GTM alignment and maximizing the program’s value for partners.
